Onwards we fry. AT made these and they were very excellent. Enhanced with our home grown lettuce. Not one for a diet lunch. Although at least we didn't butter the bread.
Ingredients
Oil
Bacon
Lettuce
Big tomatoes, sliced into thick slices
Slice bread
Mayo
Flour
1 egg, beaten
Breadcrumbs (seasoned with whatever you fancy)
Method
Cook your bacon in the air fryer.
Add the breadcrumbs to one plate, the beaten egg to another and the flour to another.
Heat the oil in a non stick frying pan
Dredge the tomato slices first in the flour, then in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs.
Fry on each side until the breadcrumbs are golden.
Assemble you BLT – bacon, then lettuce, then tomato, then mayo.
