Blue Cheese Sauce

A simple but delicious blue cheese sauce for steak, burgers, dipping.....



Ingredients

  • 30g butter

  • 1 tbsp plain flour

  • 200ml milk

  • 75g blue cheese, chopped

Method


  1. Melt the butter over a medium heat.

  2. Stir in the flour and let cook for a minute or 2 until fully combined.

  3. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and all the milk has been added.

  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir in the cheese.

  5. Cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.
