Bourbon Sauce/Glaze

Marinade, glaze, brush, dip.... Get your TGIs on.



Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup bourbon

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 4 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tsp of fresh ginger, minced

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper


Method


  1. Pour bourbon and brown sugar into a pan and cook on medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients.

  3. Bring the sauce to a boil.

  4. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

  5. Remove it from the heat and let it cool.
