Butter Herb Rice

This is an extremely simple rice with ingredients you probably have in already. Whilst it sounds basic it’s really tasty.



Ingredients


  • 1 1/2 cups white rice

  • 2 cups water

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 3 chicken stock cubes

  • 3 tablespoons oregano


Method


  • Make stock and add to the pan with the butter, bring to boil

  • Add rice and oregano

  • Return to boil then turn temperature to low

  • Cover pan with lid and simmer for 15-20 mins

  • Remove from heat and sit for 2 mins before serving
