This isn't a recipe, it's a thing we saw on Facebook which actually worked! No judgement.
So we saw a post on Facebook suggesting that if you place a slice of bread under a chicken kiev during cooking it soaks up the leaking butter and you get a bonus garlic bread. Can confirm - TRUE!
I think if you ave kids they'd like this. I tried it on Alix. You get a sort of cross between fried bread and garlic bread. TBH I preferred it to the kiev.
Serve with jersey potatoes and a ladle of butter. Probably throw the kiev out.
