A nice change of flavour and I love a sauce. Mildly spicy, would be nice on many dishes.
Ingredients
1/2 cup diced shallots
3 tbsp curry powder
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp sugar
1 can coconut milk
2 tsp fish sauce
Instructions
Heat some oil over medium heat.
Add the shallots and sauté until soft and brown, about 2-5 mins.
Stir in the curry powder, garlic powder and sugar and fry lightly.
Add the coconut milk and fish sauce and bring to a gently simmer to thicken slightly.
