An easy one but I love homemade coleslaw - ideally home made by a deli but in present times you just have to grate the carrots yourself!
The good thing about making it yourself is that if you choose to (I don't) you can make it lower in calories by using low fat mayo and salad cream.
Ingredients
3 or 4 carrots
Half a cabbage (I prefer red)
1 or 2 onions
Mayo to coat
Squirt of salad cream
Salt and pepper
Method
Grate the carrot (yawn)
Finely chop the onion
Chop the cabbage into small strips
Mix ingredients together and keep adding mayo until it looks like coleslaw
Add a squirt of salad cream (it adds a tang)
Salt and pepper to taste
Wash your hands, which are now purple from the red cabbage.
