Not so much a recipe but a cool spin for Christmas. Also good if you're making festive parmos as it's lots of the same ingredients. Pigs in blanket gravy is a game changer. Went steady at first in case it ruined it but it was excellent. Like Poutine. On that note, you could swap the tortillos for chips. Yes I use disposable trays for nachos.
Ingredients
No quantities, go wild.
Nachos (or chips)
Grated cheese (any)
Wensleydale cheese with cranberries (or any festive cheese you like)
Cranberry sauce
Sour cream
Mix of breadcrumbs and stuffing mix (to sprinkle and toast)
Pigs in Blankets
Gravy (ideally pigs in blanket), made thick
Method
Cook the pigs (I used the airfryer)
Layer the nachos as follows:
Nachos
Grated cheese
Crumbled Wensleydale
Blob on some cranberry sauce and sour cream
Sprinkle over the breadcrumb/stuffing mix
Bake the nachos in the oven for 10 mins.
Chop up the pigs in blankets and distribute over nachos.
Pour over the gravy.
