I don't normally buy chicken sausage but they came free with an order and I wasn't sure what to do with them, the idea of normal sausage usage didn't sit well! Much like anything though, they're better with pasta.

Ingredients
350g pasta
6 chicken sausages, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups passata/marinara sauce
½ cup whole milk
¼ cup double cream
2 cups frozen peas
1 tsp crushed chilli
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup parmesan
Method
Cook pasta as per instructions.
Add the olive oil to a large pan and cook the chicken sausage.
Add the butter and garlic and sauté for 1 min.
Reduce heat and add the marinara sauce, milk, cream, peas, red pepper flakes and salt and pepper and stir to combine.
Bring mixture to a low simmer for 2-3 mins until the peas are cooked.
Remove from heat, then add parmesan cheese.
Add the cooked pasta and stir to combine.
