This is very lazy, very lazy indeed. But it's not quite ready meal lazy. Whilst it's not the same as a chilli from scratch these cupboard ingredients mean you can always be ready to throw together a quick evening meal which is still really tasty.
I got this one from my Dad and he is very specific about the tomatoes and kidney beans having chilli in for added kick.
Ingredients
500g mince
Oil (I use chilli infused oil)
Homepride Chilli sauce
Chopped tomatoes with chilli
Kidney beans in chilli
Chilli flakes or powder for added heat
Method
Brown mince in chilli oil
Throw in all ingredients and cook out
Add chilli flakes or powder if it's not hot enough (it's hot enough for me).
Sometimes I add a glug of red wine for depth. I also pre-make and reheat where possible because I think it tastes better.
Serve with rice, tortilla chips and soured cream.
